It -does- have significantly better voice acting I guess.
If SH2 were any game other than SH2 Silent Hill 3 would be the superior sequel by far and the best game for the PS2.
As is, SH3 is just the best PS2 exclusive.

Just finished Born From A Wish
It’s a little expansion that was available on the X-box port (and now the HD collection)
It’s… not bad I guess. I was only expecting a short trip (about 20 minutes) but I figured it would expand on Maria as a character. It sort of does by giving her suicidal tendencies (tying into her repeated deaths in the game) but that’s subsumed by a ghost story plot she investigates that’s more in the vein of Fatal Frame than Silent Hill.
I mean since it doesn’t cost any extra I don’t resent it, but eh. If SH2 came out today it’d cost 1200 microsoft points online which it’s not worth.
Also is anyone else pissed that Fatal Frame Zero for Wii was never localized?
